Hechem NADJAR started his career in Germany at EADS in 1999 where he worked on stationary hydrogen fuel cells. From 2002 to 2006, he worked at TOTAL in petrochemistry in Belgium. He joined Shell in 2006 as technical manager in France. He was then successively appointed Global Product Manager for Bitumen and Sulphur, M&A implementer, Economist for the Alternative Energies branch. In 2013, he was appointed Business Development Manager and Commercial Manager for Shell Hydrogen. He lead a pipeline of projects including a network of light duty hydrogen stations in California and Europe, and the first three large scale hydrogen refueling stations for trucks in the Port of Long Beach and Los Angeles.
