Jennifer Reichert is part of the scientific staff at Project Management Jülich, a national funding agency in Germany. In the Department of Energy Efficiency in Buildings she supervises research projects on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
Since March 2019, she is appointed chair of the Implementation Working group 5 of the SET Plan “Energy Efficiency Solutions in Buildings”. In this role she coordinates the execution of IP 5 in the two sub-groups „New Materials and Technologies for Energy Efficiency Solutions in Buildings“ und „Cross Cutting Heating and Cooling Technologies for Buildings“.
Her scientific expertise is in materials science. Jennifer Reichert studied Metallurgy and Materials Science at RWTH Aachen University and gained international work and research experience in Brazil, Canada and Belgium.
