Panagiotis (aka Takis) Ktenidis He graduated of M. Sc. Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, National Technical University of Athens and received a Scholarship in Von Karman Institute, Brussels Postgraduate Research in Fluids, with research on “Rotating Stall on Axial Compressors” applied in aircraft compressor engines. He is founder of the EFOP NGO-NPO, and active as New Technologies Consultant and Project Manager of the Large Scale Project for local communities.
He worked as member of the team of an innovative design of a PV Tracker certified and installed on a large application base. He co-worked for an international patent applied in a “Method and mechanism for supersonic separation of droplets from gas stream”.
He acted as the Chair of the BRIDGE European Commission Initiative Working Group on Regulations and the subgroup Energy Islands Issues. He contributed in the BRIDGE Report for EC “Re-regulate: Facing Regulations for encouraging Innovative Smart Grids & Storage, 2017” with special focus on Energy Storage definition in new energy market.
He is presently working for the Lab of Soft Energy Applications & Environmental Protection, University of West Attica (UNIWA), as Research Management Team Member and Postgraduate Research Dissertations Coordinator.
He is a member of the Management Team of the training programme on the Energy Performance of Buildings, a contributor in the Greek National Building Renovation long-term strategy investments according to Article 4 of European Directive 2012/27.
A member of the TILOS H2020 local storage smart grid-island research and demonstration project twice awarded in 2017 team and PHAROS composing an integrated planning tool for small and medium size Aegean Sea Islands. He is member of the working task force of UNIWA for Integrated Territorial Investments in the regions of West Athens and Piraeus aiming the regional sustainable energy plan implementation with pv solar, wind and battery system applications.
He has worked for CRISP FP7 project doing research on socio-technical transition and innovation pathways.
