Transport during the event

Free shuttles will be available during the event.

A reception desk marked Set-Plan & ENVE Conference will be available at the  Henri Coanda International Airport – Arrivals Terminal on the 11th and 12th. Please go to the reception desk in order to be directed to the free shuttles. The schedule of the shuttles will take into consideration the arrival and departure dates and hours that were provided during the registration process.

on 11 June 2019:
– travel from Henri Coanda International Airport to the recommended hotels

on 12 June 2019:
-travel from the Henri Coanda International Airport to the recommended hotels
-travel from the recommended hotels to the meeting venue at the noon
-travel from the Henri Coanda International Airport to the meeting venue
-travel from the meeting venue to the recommended hotels

On 13 June 2019:
-travel from the hotels to the conference venue in the morning and back in the afternoon.
-travel back to the hotels or to the Henri Coanda International Airport in the afternoon.

On 14 June 2018:
– travel from the recommended hotels to Politehnica University (the departure place for the study visits) and to the Extreme Light Infrastructure – Nuclear Physics
– travel from the Politehnica University to the Henri Coanda International Airport

Please note that for all these shuttles, pick-up and drop-off for all participants will take place at each recommended hotel (Grand Hotel Continental,  Hotel Novotel Bucharest, Orhideea Residence & Spa, Ambiance Hotel , Yesterday Hotel)

IMPORTANT: A special fast check-in line will be available at the Henri Coanda International Airport for the departures. Please keep your conference badge with you all the time, as the access to the fast line will be done by providing your ID together with the badge. The shuttles will drop you off at the special line entrance.

Transportation between Henri Coanda International Airport and City Center

By Bus: Express Bus 783 offers daily service to the city center, with stops at Baneasa Airport, Piata Presei Libere, Piata Victoriei, Piata Romana, Piata Universitatii and Piata Unirii. This line runs day and night. The bus leaves every 15 minutes during the day and every 40 minutes during the night. The journey to the city center takes approximately 40 minutes. The bus fare is 7 Lei (about 1.8 Euro) for a round-trip ticket. Tickets can be purchased in the airport; the card desk being in front of the Arrivals terminal.

By Taxi: Only licensed taxi companies are allowed in the airport. A normal fare to central Bucharest is about 15 Euro. Taxi fare per km for trips from the airport starts from 1.99 lei to 3.30 lei (0.3 to 0.9 Euro/km).

If you want to pay by credit card you must travel with a Fly Taxi car (3.5 lei/km, approx. 0.75 Eur/km).The vehicles are equipped with POS (terminals for electronic payment: American Express, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa) (please see

At the Arrivals Terminal a special desk is established, where you can order an authorized taxi from a predetermined list. You will receive a receipt after ordering with the waiting time and cab number printed on it.
